Two Ramón Peña tins packed in smoked olive oil, one mackerel and one sardine, so you can taste the same smoky oil on two different fish. Ramón Peña has been tinning in Cambados, Galicia, since 1920. The firm mackerel fillets carry a gentle woodsmoke note, while the Gold Line sardines are "do xeito", a traditional Galician net method.

Serving Suggestion: Open the tins at room temperature and serve on Picos or toast. Taste the two side by side, and keep the oil for dipping. Pair with a dry white wine or a cold lager.
