Healthy Bites: Orange & Almond Bread
No Flour Added | Dried Fruit and Nuts | Cheeseboard Essential | New-to-Range
A Farmer's Recipe, Refined. Fig bread (pan de higo) began as a way for farm workers in Alicante to carry fibre and energy into the fields. Pan de naranja y almendras takes that recipe as its starting point: dried fruit and nuts pressed into a loaf, with no flour used.
Preparation and Texture: Built on a base of dried figs, dates and apricots, with almonds running through it and candied orange for a bright citrus lift. Dense and chewy, sweet without being cloying.
Serving Suggestion: Slice thinly and serve alongside a cheese board, particularly with aged sheep's cheese, or eat on its own as an afternoon snack with coffee.
Ingredients: Dried figs, dates, dried apricots, almonds, candied orange. Pasteurised.
