A Different Kind of Olive Oil. This is one of the few genuinely extra virgin, certified-organic olive oils in the range. Olivo infuses certified organic EVOO from Alicante with real black garlic over several weeks, then removes the solids and bottles the oil, with no artificial flavourings involved.
Preparation and Flavour: Black garlic (garlic slow-aged until it turns dark and sweet) lends the oil a deep, savoury, faintly molasses-like note that's far gentler than raw garlic, without needing any added extract. Available in a larger 250ml format for everyday use or a compact 100ml format for testing a new flavour or gifting.
Serving Suggestion: Drizzle over steak, roasted mushrooms, or a soft-boiled egg on toast. Also excellent worked into a mayonnaise or aioli.
